Maternal Children’s Health (MCH) Faculty Development Fellowship Program at Diverse Institutions (Faculty Fellowship)

  • The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) National MCH Workforce Development Center is pleased to announce the selection of 10 early and mid-career public health faculty members to the MCH Faculty Development Fellowship Program at Diverse Institutions (Faculty Fellowship), including fellows at HBCUs. The Faculty Fellowship program will support the fellows in advancing their MCH work and scholarship in public health education, student mentorship, research, and/or partnership development and engagement.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Serving Institutions Advisory Council (HBCU-MSI AC)

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is soliciting applications to fill 15-20 vacancies on the newly established Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Serving Institutions Advisory Council (HBCU-MSI AC). Applicants may come from a variety of sectors including, but not limited to, representatives from business and industry, academia, non-governmental organizations, and local, county, and Tribal governments that have experience working at or in partnership with HBCUs and/or MSIs. Selected applicants will be appointed by the Administrator to serve a 2-year term and contribute to a balance of perspectives, backgrounds, and experience of the council.

 

Applications to the HBCU-MSI AC are due by Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. ET. To apply for appointment, the below information is required:

Seeking Applications – FY 2024 Community Supervision Strategies Program

The Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) offers funding through a variety of different programs to achieve safer communities and promote a safe and fair criminal justice system. BJA is seeking applications for the FY 2024 Community Supervision Strategies Program.

With this solicitation, the Bureau of Justice Assistance seeks to provide state, local, and tribal community supervision agencies with resources and training and technical assistance to assess and improve responses to client behavior in accordance with the principles of swiftness, certainty, and/or fairness. Guided by one or more of those principles, supervision agencies will engage in collaborative problem solving with stakeholders using data and research-informed strategies to improve supervision outcomes and promote the fair administration of justice.

Seeking Applications – FY 2024 Prosecuting Cold Cases Using DNA Program

Deadline: April 25, 2024

The Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) offers funding through a variety of different programs to achieve safer communities and promote a safe and fair criminal justice system. BJA is seeking applications for the FY 2024 Prosecuting Cold Cases Using DNA Program.

With this solicitation, BJA seeks to provide funding to support the prosecution of violent cold case crimes where a suspect (known or unknown) has been identified through DNA evidence. Provided a DNA profile attributed to a known or unknown suspect has been developed from crime scene evidence, this funding also supports investigative activities, as well as crime and forensic analyses, that could lead to the successful prosecution of violent cold case crimes.
