2024 HBCU History in Pictures Video Series

HBCUs are a living legacy and have made countless contributions to history. Their stories are evident on the campuses, from the historic buildings, traditions, stories, and photographs which have been meticulously maintained by each HBCU. We are excited to celebrate their histories, hear their stories, and shine a light on the need to continue the preservation work being done on these campuses with a video series, HBCU History in Photos. Follow us as we hear from three HBCUs – Jackson University, Prairie View A&M University, and Morgan State University – each with a unique story memorialized in photography. This series is brought to you in collaboration with the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity through Historically Black Colleges and Universities, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, and Getty Images.
