NIDRR funding announcement for ARRT projects. Important Pre-Application meeting on 2/22/13.

The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) is inviting applications for grant funding under its Minority Serving Institution (MSI) Advanced Rehabilitation Research Training (ARRT) Projects for fiscal year 2013.  The purpose of this competition is to improve the capacity of minority entities to develop and support disability and rehabilitation research training opportunities.  The maximum size of the grant award is $150,000 per year, for five years.  Eligibility for the MSI ARRT project is limited to minority entities and Indian tribes.  Interested parties are invited to participate in a pre-application meeting to be held February 22, 2013 (between 1:00pm and 3:00pm, Washington, DC time), and to receive information and technical assistance through individual consultation with NIDRR staff.  For further information or to make arrangements to participate in the meeting via conference call or for an individual consultation, contact Marlene Spencer at (202) 245-7532 or by email:  marlene.spencer@ed.gov.
