Grant Opportunity: The Office of Elementary and Secondary Education Announces FY 2019 Comprehensive Center Competition
The Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, U.S. Department of Education (Department) is pleased to announce the FY 2019 Comprehensive Centers program (CC) competition. The CC program provides capacity-building services to State educational agencies, regional educational agencies, local educational agencies, and schools that improve educational outcomes for all students, close achievement gaps, and improve the quality of instruction.
The Department will award a total of 20 grants under this competition. Nineteen awards, ranging from approximately $1,000,000 to $6,472,657, will support the establishment of nineteen Regional Centers to provide intensive capacity-building services to States within defined geographic regions. One award of approximately $5,000,000 will support the establishment of a National Center that will provide research-informed universal and targeted capacity-building services to all States.
Eligible entities include research organizations, institutions, agencies, institutions of higher learning, or partnerships among such entities or individuals, with the demonstrated ability or capacity to carry out the activities described in the Notice Inviting Applications and Notice of Final Priorities, Requirements, Definitions, and Performance Measures. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 24, 2019 at 11:59:59 Eastern Time.
