On behalf of the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities, I am pleased to invite you to an upcoming webinar introducing Project Blackbird, an initiative focused on expanding access to culturally response mental health support for students.
Project Blackbird will conduct its first ever HBCU tour in Fall 2026; they are looking to partner with HBCUs nationwide to expand free access to therapy through immersive mental health programming — made possible through their FREE Therapy Initiative with Talkspace. By partnering with Project Blackbird and allowing them to host a program on your campus you are not only bringing a powerful mental health experience to your community — you are directly unlocking a full year of free therapy for participating students.
This webinar will take place Monday, April 27th at 11:00AM ET, and will provide an overview of their on-campus program and how your HBCU can sign up to become a tour stop! Registration Link
We believe this webinar may be especially valuable for HBCU counseling centers, student affairs teams, and campus wellness leaders working to support student mental health. We kindly ask that you share this invitation with the appropriate contact at your school.
We hope you will join us to learn more about how Project Blackbird can support your students. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
We look forward to having you attend the event!
