The Peace Corps and the White House Initiative will participate in meetings with HBCU campus and community Influencers, establish and steward relationships with scare skills departments on the HBCU’s campuses in Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee. This will strengthen relationships with the agency’s partners, support existing and encourage Peace Corps UP programming on campus and increase Peace Corps awareness throughout three southern states.

Historically Black Colleges and Universities:
Tennessee: Thursday, October 12th-14th – Tennessee State University
Mississippi: Sunday, October 15th- 21st- Mississippi Valley State University
Alabama: Sunday, October 22nd-25th- Tuskegee University ~ Auburn University

Activities and Events:
We are planning to host a series of major specific class room talks, host tabling event and facilitate Information session on campus while simultaneously meeting with key stakeholders on campus, Alumni and community influencers.
