Renewed U.S. Commitment to International Education

Under the Joint Statement of Principles in Support of International Education, the U.S. Departments of Education and State – with support from the Department of Commerce, the Department of Homeland Security, and USAID are committed to a renewed focus on international education. Areas of emphasis under the Joint Statement include international students on U.S. campuses, study abroad for Americans, and the internationalization of U.S. schools and campuses.
