We appreciate the opportunity to respond to your request for clarification.The final year of funding for the SEPPIE program under the terms of section 611(b) of the IDEA Amendments of 1997 will be available this summer. In subsequent years, under P.L. 106-504, section 3(a), the Freely Associated States will be eligible for funding consistent with section 611(b) of IDEA for the SEPPIE grant through the time described in the last sentence of section 3(a) of P.
