While Latinos make up one quarter of students in public schools and 17 percent of the  undergraduate population, Latinos only represent 4 percent of the total number of our U.S. higher education faculty.

The White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics (Initiative) recognizes Hispanic professors nationwide. With the #LatinosTeach online campaign the Initiative will demonstrate that while they are underrepresented, Hispanics are dedicating themselves to serving their community through teaching.
