Grupo 21 is a volunteer-based initiative born out of a deep desire from stateside community leaders and elected officials of Puerto Rican heritage and our allies to further our efforts in support of a diverse and inclusive Executive Branch. In response to the negative impact of Hurricane Fiona in Puerto Rico, they have decided to temporarily use our national network to bring together agencies and groups working on Puerto Rico emergency relief efforts so that they can share information and resources and look into opportunities for collaboration.

On Monday, briefing titled Puerto Rico Emergency Relief: The Federal Response and the Road to Recovery After Fiona. The briefing will take place virtually at 6:30 pm ET on Monday, October 17, 2022. This briefing will feature U.S. Department of Education Senior Advisor Chris Soto who will share about the work that the Department is doing to support the residents of Puerto Rico.
