Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) are the fastest growing racial group in the United States. The AAPI population is expected to more than double from 20 million to more than 51 million by 2060. With this tremendous growth comes the need to better understand and address the unique issues facing this diverse community.
The White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders works to improve the quality of life for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders across the nation through increased access to and participation in federal programs. Learn more about our mission. The Initiative engages with federal leaders and the community on four cross-cutting ideas: data disaggregation, language access, capacity building, and workforce diversity.
