Valerie Mosley

Valerie Mosley is a former senior vice president, partner, and portfolio manager for Wellington Management Company, LLP, a $540 billion global investment firm. She also serves on two of the firm’s fixed-income strategy groups, and has chaired the firm’s Industry Strategy Group. Before joining Wellington Management in 1992, Mosley worked at Chase Manhattan Bank, Kidder Peabody, and P.G. Corbin Asset Management. She speaks frequently on issues related to the economy and investments, personal empowerment, and financial literacy. In addition, she is working with high schools to develop a financial education program that can be scaled nationally. Val Mosley received her B.A. from Duke University and her M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
